Strategies for Northern Development (SND), a reputable local NGO committed to building resilience and improving the lives of pastoralist communities in Northern Kenya and Southern Ethiopia, is pleased to invite qualified suppliers and contractors to submit their quotations for:

The Supply of 5,000-Litre Plastic Water Storage Tanks and Construction of Tank Plinths at Dadach Ellele Apiaries, Marsabit County.

This assignment is part of the Integrated Post-Drought and Flood Response Project, funded by DFAT through Oxfam, aimed at improving water access and supporting climate-resilient livelihoods.

📌 Scope of Work

  • Supply of durable 5,000-litre branded plastic tanks (e.g., Kentank or Rototank), complete with fittings.
  • Construction of reinforced concrete plinths to support tanks, including all site preparation, excavation, concrete works, plumbing, and finishes.
  • Installation of rainwater harvesting systems (gutters, downpipes, fascia boards).
  • Minor irrigation system connections.
  • Transportation and delivery to project site at Dadach Ellele Apiaries.

Note: All prices must be VAT inclusive and factor in transportation to the site.
