CONSULTANCY FOR OCCUPATIONAL FIRE SAFETY TRAINING FOR STRATEGIES FOR NORTHERN DEVELOPMENT (SND) STAFF
The Strategies for Northern Development (SND) is a local non-governmental organization working with Nomadic Pastoralist Communities in Northern Kenya and Southern Ethiopia.
The organization was registered in Kenya with the NGO coordination board as a national NGO on the 6th of Dec 2007 and an agency for civil society organization on 21st of October 2019 in the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. SND is guided by a vision to see a society where all Pastoralist Communities are resilient and live a dignified life and a mission to empower and transform pastoralist communities to be self-resilient in life. Key thematic areas are;
(i) Peace Building and Governance,
(ii) Food Security, Sustainable Livelihoods and Resilience,
(ii) Child Protection and Education,
(iv) Water, Sanitation, and Health, and
(v) Humanitarian assistance.
SND would therefore like to engage a reputable firm or trainer to carry out Fire Safety Training for its staff in Moyale Office. The Fire safety training is essential for ensuring the safety and well-being of all SND employees in the workplace. By providing this training, SND employees will be made aware of fire hazards and risks, as well as taught how to prevent fires and respond effectively in case of an emergency and lastly, be acquainted with the Fire Risk Reduction legislation.
