Strategies for Northern Development (SND) is a registered non-governmental organization working across Northern Kenya and Southern Ethiopia to promote resilience, dignity, and sustainable development among pastoralist communities. Since 2007, SND has been implementing impactful programs in areas such as Peacebuilding, Humanitarian Assistance, Climate Resilience, Livelihoods, WASH, Gender Equality, and Institutional Strengthening.

📦 About the Project

Through funding from DFAT via Oxfam, SND is implementing the Integrated Post-Drought and Flood Project in Marsabit County. As part of this initiative, we are inviting quotations for:

  1. Supply of Farm Equipment for supported farmer groups at Dadach Elele.

  2. Supply of Oil Press Extractors to enhance local agricultural processing and enterprise development.

🧾 Submission Guidelines

Interested and eligible suppliers are invited to submit their quotations for either or both tenders. The RFQs must be:

✅ Submitted via email to procurement@sndafrica.org or delivered physically to SND offices in Isiolo, Marsabit, or Moyale.
✅ Clearly marked with the subject reference:

  • SND-DFAT Farm Equipment – 2025

  • SND-DFAT Oil Press Extractor – 2025

Deadline: 27th June 2025

Quotations must include:

  • Business registration certificate

  • CR12 or ID copies (for sole proprietorship)

  • Valid business permit

  • PIN and KRA compliance certificate

  • Completed and stamped BOQ

  • Proof of similar assignments completed

  • Audited financial reports (last 2 years) or 6-month bank statement
