Call for Quotations: Supply of 10,000-Litre Water Tanks for Environmental Initiatives in Schools
The Strategies for Northern Development (SND) is a registered local non-governmental organization dedicated to working with nomadic pastoralist communities in Northern Kenya and Southern Ethiopia since its inception on 6th December 2007. Guided by our vision to foster resilient and dignified pastoralist communities, we focus on seven core thematic areas:
- Peace, Conflict Resolution, and Governance
- Humanitarian Assistance and Emergency Response
- Protection, Gender Equality, and Inclusion
- Climate Justice and Resilience

Project Overview
SND plans to support five schools with Child Rights Clubs focused on Environmental Initiatives. The support will include:
- Supplying each school with a 10,000-litre plastic water tank
- Installation of handwashing stations
- Construction of tank plinths
The targeted schools are:
- Watiti Primary School and Nana Primary School (Golbo Ward)
- Kurrow Girls Primary School (Hellu Manyatta Ward)
- Sessi Primary School (Township Ward)
- Kukub Primary School (Obbu Ward)
