About Strategies for Northern Development (SND)
Strategies for Northern Development (SND) is a local NGO committed to empowering nomadic pastoralist communities across Northern Kenya and Southern Ethiopia. Since its registration with the NGO Coordination Board in Kenya on 6th December 2007, SND has worked tirelessly to transform these communities, enabling them to lead resilient and dignified lives.

Guided by its vision of fostering resilience and dignity for all pastoralist communities, SND drives impactful interventions through the following thematic areas:

Request for Quotations (RFQ)
As part of its efforts to enhance livelihoods and build community resilience, SND invites qualified bidders to submit quotations for the supply and installation of solar-powered lighting equipment to support a women group’s business in Moyale town.

Application Procedure

Interested bidders are required to submit their quotations in line with the specifications outlined in the RFQ document.

  • Submission Deadline: All quotations must be submitted on or before 27th January 2025.
  • Submission Methods:
    • Email: Send your quotation to procurement@sndafrica.org.
    • Physical Delivery: Submit your quotation at any SND office located in Isiolo, Marsabit, or Moyale.

Important: Ensure the RFQ reference number is clearly indicated as the email subject or on the envelope, in accordance with the tender guidelines.
