Today, SND joins the world in celebrating every child’s right to safety, education, protection, and opportunity. This year’s theme, “My Day, My Rights”, is a reminder that children are not just beneficiaries of development; they are rights-holders whose voices matter.
Across Northern Kenya and Southern Ethiopia, SND continues to work with communities to ensure children grow up healthy, educated, and protected. From strengthening education access, supporting food and nutrition security, promoting child protection, and ending harmful cultural practices, we remain committed to creating an environment where every child can thrive.
On this World Children’s Day, we reaffirm our pledge: to listen to children, to protect their rights, and to build a future where no child is left behind.
