The Strategies for Northern Development (SND) is a local non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering nomadic pastoralist communities in Northern Kenya and Southern Ethiopia. Since its registration with the NGO Coordination Board in Kenya on 6th December 2007, SND has remained committed to transforming these communities to lead resilient and dignified lives.

As part of its commitment to enhancing livelihoods and fostering resilience, SND invites qualified bidders to submit quotations for the purchase and distribution of galla goats at the household level in Elledimtu and Koba villages, Sololo Sub-County, Marsabit County.

Key Requirements:
- Encouragement of Local Bidders: Women groups and youth groups from the respective Obbu and Uran wards are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Source of Goats: The goats must be sourced from local pastoral and agro-pastoral herds. Animals from slaughter markets are strictly prohibited, as they may not be suitable for breeding purposes.
Application Procedure
Interested bidders are requested to submit their quotations in accordance with the specifications outlined in the RFQ documents.
- Deadline: Submit your completed quotation on or before 28th January 2025.

- Email: Send your quotation to procurement@sndafrica.org.
- Physical Delivery: Submit your quotation at any of the SND offices located in Isiolo, Marsabit, or Moyale.
Ensure the RFQ reference is clearly stated either as the email subject line or on the envelope, as per the tender guidelines.
