Institutional Effectiveness

Identity, organizational governance, ethics, and meeting stakeholder needs are fundamental elements that shape an organization’s reputation, integrity, legitimacy, development, and overall success. Establishing a clear identity and robust governance framework is essential for capacity development and must be prioritized from the organization’s inception.

SND recognizes the importance of defining its identity, regulatory frameworks, values, mission statements, and governance structures to foster organizational growth and development.
Institutional effectiveness encompasses capacity building and support aimed at enhancing leadership, management, and sustainability within SND. It is imperative that individuals within the organization possess the requisite skills, motivation, and opportunities to contribute optimally to SND’s objectives.

Additionally, fostering effective organizational dynamics and relationships among team members is essential for achieving productive outcomes. To further institutional effectiveness, SND will develop new strategies and review existing policies across various domains including finance, human resources, resource mobilization, board manuals, and communication channels.
