1. Introduction to SND

Strategies for Northern Development (SND) is a local, fully registered non-governmental organization established in 2007 to empower nomadic pastoralist communities of Northern Kenya and Southern Ethiopia. Guided by its vision β€œto see a society where all pastoralist communities are resilient and live a dignified life,” SND works across eight strategic pillars:

2. About the Procurement Opportunity

With support from the World Food Programme (WFP), SND is implementing a livelihood and fisheries value chain strengthening initiative in Marsabit County and the Lake Turkana Basin.

To support this initiative, SND hereby invites qualified, reputable, and duly registered suppliers to submit quotations for the supply of assorted livelihood support equipment and solar-powered cold-chain infrastructure.

The procurement opportunities are open to all eligible suppliers operating within Kenya. BMU members are especially encouraged to apply for the outboard engine supply.

1. SUPPLY OF MOVABLE, GALVANIZED FOOD-GRADE METALLIC DRYING RACKS

4. How to Apply

1. Prepare a complete quotation including the following documents:

  • Certificate of Incorporation / Business Registration
  • CR12 (or ID copies for proprietors/partners)
  • Valid Business Permit
  • KRA PIN and Valid Tax Compliance Certificate
  • Duly completed, stamped and signed BOQ
  • Proof of similar assignments completed
  • Audited accounts for the last 2 years or 6 months’ bank statement
