Strategies for Northern Development (SND)

The Strategies for Northern Development (SND) is a registered local non-governmental organization working with nomadic pastoralist communities in Northern Kenya and Southern Ethiopia since its establishment on 6th December 2007. Guided by our vision of fostering resilient and dignified pastoralist communities, we focus on seven key thematic areas:
- Peace, Conflict Resolution, and Governance
- Humanitarian Assistance and Emergency Response
- Protection, Gender Equality, and Inclusion
- Climate Justice and Resilience
- Livelihood and Enterprise Development
- Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH)
- Institutional Effectiveness
In partnership with the World Food Programme (WFP), SND is implementing the Warehousing, Secondary Transportation, and Food Distribution Project in Marsabit, Isiolo, and Samburu Counties. We invite bids from qualified vendors for the transportation of food commodities in line with project specifications.
Application Procedure
Interested bidders are invited to submit their quotations as per the requirements outlined in the RFQ document.

- Submission Deadline: Quotations must be submitted by 29th January 2025.
- Submission Methods:
- Email: Send your quotation to procurement@sndafrica.org.
- Physical Delivery: Submit your quotation to any SND office in Isiolo, Marsabit, or Moyale.

- Clearly indicate the RFQ reference number as the email subject line or on the envelope for physical submissions.
