1. About Strategies for Northern Development (SND)
Strategies for Northern Development (SND) is a leading local non-governmental organization working with nomadic pastoralist communities in Northern Kenya and Southern Ethiopia.
Since our establishment in 2007, SND has remained committed to our vision of a society where all pastoralist communities are resilient and live a dignified life. Our mission is to empower and transform pastoralist communities to become self-resilient.

2. Tender Overview
With funding support from Terre des Hommes Germany through BMZ, SND is implementing the project:
“Child Protection through Capacity Building, Transformation of Social Norms, and Strengthening of Protection Mechanisms in Northern Kenya.”
We are seeking qualified, experienced, and duly registered suppliers/contractors/consultants to submit quotations for the:
📽 Production of a Documentary for the Project
“Building Foundations for Ending Child Exploitation (Harmful Traditional Practices, Child Trafficking, and Unsafe Migration of Children) in Pastoral Communities of Marsabit County, Northern Kenya.”

3. Mandatory Requirements
Interested bidders must submit the following:
- Certificate of Business Registration / Incorporation
- CR12 (for registered companies)
- Valid Business Permit
- PIN Certificate & KRA Tax Compliance Certificate
- Duly filled, signed, and stamped Bill of Quantities (BOQ) or detailed proposal (as applicable)
- Evidence of at least three (3) similar assignments successfully completed (with references)
- Audited financial statements for the last two (2) years OR certified bank statements for the last six (6) months
- Proposed work plan with clear timelines
4. Submission Instructions
All submissions must clearly state the RFQ Reference Number and be submitted through either of the following:

📍 By Hand Delivery: To SND offices in Moyale or Marsabit during official working hours.
⏳ Deadline: On or before Close of Business, 2nd September 2025
5. Safeguarding Commitment
