About Strategies for Northern Development (SND)

Strategies for Northern Development (SND) is a local non-governmental organization established in 2007 and working with pastoralist communities in Northern Kenya and Southern Ethiopia. SND’s work focuses on strengthening resilience, promoting dignity, and supporting sustainable livelihoods through interventions in humanitarian response, livelihoods development, protection, climate resilience, WASH, and institutional effectiveness.

To support effective programme implementation, SND invites qualified and reputable service providers to submit quotations for the following support service RFQs.

RFQ 1: Hotel and Conference Services (2026)

SND invites quotations from eligible hotels and conference facilities to provide accommodation, conferencing, and meeting services for programme activities, trainings, workshops, and coordination meetings across its areas of operation.

Interested service providers are required to demonstrate the capacity to offer quality accommodation, meals, conferencing facilities, and related services as outlined in the RFQ document.

RFQ 2: Supply of Office Stationeries (2026)

SND invites quotations for the supply of general office stationery, printing materials, and related consumables to support daily office operations and programme activities.

Suppliers are expected to provide quality items in accordance with the specifications outlined in the RFQ document.

RFQ 3: Supply of Office Utilities (2026)

SND further invites quotations for the supply of office utilities, including cleaning materials, kitchen supplies, and other office consumables required for smooth office operations.

RFQ 4: Supply of IEC and Visibility Materials

SND invites quotations for the supply of Information, Education and Communication (IEC) and visibility materials to support programme communication and branding. These include branded apparel, banners, posters, and other promotional and visibility items as detailed in the RFQ document.

Submission and Shortlisting

Interested bidders are required to submit complete quotations strictly in accordance with the instructions provided in each RFQ document.
Shortlisting will be conducted on a rolling basis, and early submissions are encouraged.

Deadline for submission: 16th January 2026

Protection, Inclusion and Ethical Conduct

SND upholds the highest standards of integrity, transparency, safeguarding, and accountability. Any form of corruption, bribery, inducement, or unethical conduct will lead to immediate disqualification.
