With funding from the World Food Programme (WFP), SND invites eligible, qualified, and reputable suppliers and contractors to submit quotations and tenders for the assignments below.


1. RFQ: Supply of Seeds and Farm Inputs – Golbo Hub (Marsabit County)

SND invites quotations for the supply of seeds and farm inputs to support community members at Golbo Hub under the Positive Deviance Hearth programme in Marsabit County. The assignment includes the supply of tree seeds comprising gum acacia (Senegalia senegal), apple-ring acacia (Faidherbia albida), and Acacia nilotica, supplied in the specified kilogram quantities.

In addition, the RFQ covers the supply of assorted farm inputs including watering cans, hosepipes, rakes, hoes, wheelbarrows, spades, slashers, potting tubes, and pangas, as detailed in the RFQ document. The quoted cost must include transport to the SND office in Moyale, and all prices must be inclusive of 16% VAT.

Suppliers may submit quotations for all items or for individual categories, provided each submission clearly references the correct RFQ number.

2. Tender: Construction of Twin Latrine and Rehabilitation of Greenhouse – Dirdima & Qalaliwe Farm Projects

SND further invites eligible contractors to submit tenders for the construction of twin latrines and rehabilitation of greenhouses at Dirdima and Qalaliwe Farm Projects in Moyale Sub-County, Marsabit County.

The scope of works includes rehabilitation of existing greenhouse structures at both sites through strengthening using Class B GI pipes, proper concreting, and installation and sewing of 75% black shade nets to the required standards. The assignment also includes branding, fabrication, and installation of project signboards at both locations.

Additionally, the tender covers the full construction of twin-door sanitary blocks, including excavation, substructure works, reinforced concrete works, superstructure masonry, roofing, plastering, finishes, installation of steel doors and PVC windows, pit latrine excavation, ventilation, hygiene messaging, and all associated builder’s works. All works must be executed strictly in accordance with the specifications outlined in the tender document, with costs inclusive of 16% VAT.
