 Re: Rehabilitation & Construction of  Cattle trough & Communal watering point

 The Strategies for Northern Development (SND), is a local non-governmental organization working with nomadic pastoralist communities in Northern Kenya and Southern Ethiopia. SND was registered in Kenya with the NGO Coordination Board as a fully-fledged NGO on 6th  December 2007.

SND is driven by a vision to see a society where all pastoralist communities are resilient and live a dignified life and a mission to empower and transform pastoralist communities to be self-resilient in life. Key thematic areas of focus are;

  1. Peacebuilding and Governance
  2. Food Security, Sustainable Livelihoods, and Resilience
  3. Water, Sanitation, and Health
  4. Child Protection and Education and
  5. Humanitarian Assistance.

SND has secured funding from DRC through SIDA under the Kenya Crisis Response SIDA HPA and intends to undertake at Dabel in Golbo ward Moyale sub-county.

  1. Rehabilitation of 1No. Existing Cattle troughs
  2. Construction of 1 No. Communal watering point
  3. Construction of 1 No. New Cattle trough

    For this purpose, we hereby invite bidders in Dabel in Golbo to submit quotations for the execution and completion of the above assignment as provided in the tender document bellow.
