đź’› Standing Together for Children in Moyale – National Children Service Month 2025

In Moyale, a strong message echoed through the streets “Justice delayed is justice denied as Every child deserves to be in a safe environment.”

Leaders, partners, and community members united to mark National Children Service Month (1st–30th November 2025) under the theme:

“Enhancing Multi-Agency Collaboration and Increasing Budgetary Allocation to Combat Child Abuse.”

Hosted at Moyale Law Court, the event brought together representatives from the Judiciary, law enforcement, civil society, and community groups in a vibrant march and dialogue aimed at ending child abuse and strengthening child protection systems across the region.

The moment was a reminder that protecting children is not the work of one agency, it’s a collective responsibility that requires partnership, accountability, and compassion.

🗣️ “I want all children to be safe and happy like me, to play without fear,” said one young participant, smiling as the procession passed through Moyale Town.

Through the support of Terre des Hommes Germany, German Cooperation (BMZ) and the Judiciary of Kenya and with the coordination of Strategies for Northern Development (SND), this initiative highlights the power of multi-agency collaboration in ensuring that no child is left behind.

As the march concluded, one thing was clear, a community that stands for its children stands for its future.

đź’› Together, we can end child abuse and build a safer, more just world for every child.
